I like Shmaltz Brewing, but this beer was pretty disappointing. As a doppelbock/dubbel it teases you with those Belgian flavors up front, but then the weak finish leaves me feeling like I just took a swig of Coors Light. Unbalanced and not very enjoyable.

Great Divide Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti
This variation might not be as good as the regular Yeti, but I didn’t have too much trouble knocking it back. Of course it may have been the good company that helped the enjoyment factor. Still…chocolatey, oakey, stoutey…yummy.
“Coworking” at The Elm. Guinness sure helps get the creativity flowing.
Probably my favorite beer from Avery. Just enough hops and alcohol to give it that Avery flavor and the distinct kick of a Belgian brew. Fruity, spicy, and all-around tasty.
Just another Friday at the office.
